Women in Pharma® (WIP) – ISPE Iberia Affiliate is a community that provides women in the pharmaceutical industry a forum for connecting and collaborating on technical and career advancement topics.
Our community is also open to men supporting women’s professional development and willing to be an active contributor to change through breaking gender-bias in society and management styles.

WE BELIEVE
Women are proactive, powerful, and talented.
Women are stronger together, so we must connect ideas and support each other to inspire future professionals, and help creating opportunities to the more unfavored ones.
Men are important allies. The journey to diverse leadership positions can only be accomplished with men’s implication. Our collective goal must be that of an ecosystem (work & home) where both men and women have the same opportunities to grow, so that the best reaches the top for the benefit of the company, the industry and the patients.

To make WIP ISPE Iberia Affiliate the home for all women within the pharmaceutical industry, sharing the ambition to become better leaders both on the social and business fronts. We aim to help women reach their full potential, be successful, be equally treated and recognized, be brave, be interventive, and promote change.
We also invite and welcome every and all men sharing our vision.

Rosario Fonseca
WIP Iberia Committee Coordinator
A dynamic business leader. She firmly believes that humanizing the workplace not only enhances productivity but improves results. Today, she puts this philosophy into action each day as Managing Director at CordenPharma.
Vanda Vicente
WIP Iberia Partnerships & Networking development
A global spirited and progressive-thinking woman with consolidated experience in pharmaceutical business and project management, delivering outstanding results in all projects she has been involved in over the past 10 years.
Vanda is passionate about cross-cutting themes such as innovation, high-performing teams, emotional intelligence, and the digital. She is a firm believer of women’s potential and a true advocate of meritocracy.
Cristina Mazó Riera
WIP Iberia Committee support
Cristina is the Chair of the ISPE Iberia chapter and the Plant Manager and Qualified Person at GP-Pharm.
She is passionate about health sciences and fully engaged to bring high quality medicines to patients around the world. Cristina is enthusiastic about strategy, change management and challenges in general.
Cristina strongly believes that women are contributing to consolidate new management styles which put together business excellence and people friendly work environments.
Luisa F. Ruiz Gatón, PhD
WIP Iberia Social support / Volunteering activities
Luisa is a Pharmacist with a strong passion for science, innovation and people.
She has been always involved in pioneering projects in the area of Nanomedicine and Advanced Therapies. She is currently working in gene therapy in the Quality department of Viralgen Commercial Therapeutics.
Luisa believes that working in Pharma and Biotech companies it is possible to have a deep and positive impact on our society. Moreover, she advocates the importance of diverse talent in organizations, as well as to highlight female role models who can inspire and support future professionals.
Beatriz Sacristán Gascón
WIP Iberia Communication and Social Media
Young leader with 8 years of experience in the pharma industry, proud to be pharmacist and woman. Throughout her career she has worked in 3 different pharmaceutical companies and accepted roles of increasing responsibility, currently being Packaging Operations Manager at Pfizer Madrid site.
Within ISPE, Beatriz is co-chair of the Emerging Leaders Iberia group, always seeking for opportunities to grow, build her network and participate in activities to leave a footprint in her journey. She is passionate to support other women in the industry and to create a community where we can all learn from each other.
Marta Malo de Molina
WIP Iberia Communication and Social Media
Currently she is leading the ISPE Emerging Leader Iberia Affiliate and she is facing new responsibilities Leading the Process Engineering role at Takeda Madrid site.
The development and opportunities she has built during her career keeps increasing her motivation to become a role model for women at the pharma industry.
Marta has taken every chance to learn and to get involved in different projects and she finds it immense value added for her professional and personal life. She is a fantastic listener and wants to help people to give the best of themselves by sharing her experiences and through the networking built across the globe.
